New Graduate Seminar – JUNE 20 2015
On Saturday June 20, Mozzies held the first of this year’s New Graduate Seminars at UB2-Hotel in Terelj National Park. The seminar was attended by Neville Saunderson, Program Manager of Australia Awards Mongolia, AAM staff members, Mozzies members, recent graduates and family members. It was great to get out of the city for a change of pace and scenery.
The morning featured presentations from Executive Director Ariunaa along with three recently returned graduates who shared their professional knowledge.
Following this session, lunch was served and then we made the short hike up the hill to film the final scenes for the soon-to-be-revealed Mozzies film.
The evening concluded with khorkhog, laughter and a bus ride home full of beautiful Mongolian singing. Thank you to everyone who attended and assisted in the planning of the event.
A second New Graduate Seminar will be held later this year; more information will follow in the coming months.

Joint Board Meeting with Austcham Mongolia
Austcham Mongolia was founded in 2013 and has since been the key party in providing Australian companies with the information, resources and contacts they need to succeed in Mongolia’s emerging economy.
As we hold very similar values in promoting a strong Australia-Mongolia relationship, we recently held a joint board meeting with Austcham to discuss how we could deepen our cooperation.
We discussed shared invitations to events run by both organisations and the networking opportunities this would provide to both of our membership groups. Austcham regularly holds their monthly sundowner drinks on the first Thursday of every month and welcomes all Mozzies members. We will distribute information about additional events in the future.
